We are pleased to invite you to observe International Mother Language Day 2019 commemorating the supreme sacrifice of Bangladeshis to protect the right to speak in our mother tongue Bangla. The event will feature ceremony, key note speeches and cultural performances on the theme of the Mother Language Day.

Time: 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Venue: Paul O’Regan Hall, Halifax Central Library.
Admission: Free

We are working in partnership with the Province of Nova Scotia, Halifax Public Libraries and other organizations to observe this special day of our community promoting linguistic diversity and multiculturalism in Nova Scotia. It is our great opportunity to come together with our families, friends, neighbors and colleagues to show homage and respect to our language martyrs and to share our unique history to other Nova Scotians.
